- After riding the Skyway Motor Way, Al 281, from Mount Cheaha, try Cottaquilla Road. It starts at White Plains community on Al Hwy 9 (About 10 miles south of Piedmont). Going west, Cattaquilla Road will connect to Highway 21 in about 5 miles. Twisty, rolling, challenging, you will be on your toes. It has great scenery, with a good pavement. It was mid-day when we rode on it with zero traffic on a Saturday. - Michael Toomey (1/25/10)
