• I took this ride on a 1984 Honda Aero 50 scooter. It was a blast, just like cars, going fast on a slow bike is more fun than going slow on a fast bike. The ride once you enter South Mountain Park is all 25mph, so scooters, even 50cc, should do fairly well. But you have to keep your speed up or you'll be wishing for a bigger bike. • A short ride from downtown Phoenix to a climb up South Mountain. A favorite for sport bikes and cruisers alike. Desert scenery and tight curves ending with a view of Phoenix from the top of the mountain. On the weekends, look out for bicycles. - Rider from Phoenix, Arizona (6/10/06)
