- "Sugarloaf Mountain, who would beliveve a mountain in Florida! Reportedly the highest point in peninsular Florida at a whopping 312ft above sea level. This is a short road that takes you over the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain overlooking Lake Apopka. Unfortuneatly the area is being developed, so the view of the lake is likely in jeopardy, so visit soon. It is a good place for that unbelievable picture of yourself on a mountain in Florida!" - Jim Davis (2/18/08)
