Rider Comments:
- "Great scenic road – couple of hazards. Sign said 'Fresh oil – Motorcycles use extreme caution' and there was, also about 6 miles of grooved pavement, and most disturbingly, deep ruts in the center of the lane (not center line!) in the curves that made for some dicey squiggles. Everyone must realize this is a mountain road in need of constant maintenance so BE CAREFUL, slow down and enjoy the scenery!" - Anonymous (8/16/11)
- "My favorite part is when we came to the sign posted 'Corners - Next 77 miles'! And that was exactly what it was! It is a great road to travel, and the scenery is gorgeous." - Melody Anderson (9/9/10)
- "This is one awesome motorcycle road. It is a must ride for any motorcyclist enthusiast. It is also part of the Lewis and Clark Expedition Trail. You really need to ride it from the beginning to the end, you will not be disappointed." - Tommy & Aileen Dossey (8/17/10)
- "Used to be my local twisty road. We used to ride it every few days, never once did we get bored. Classic Rocky Mountain motorcycle road." - Jesse Murphy (6/12/09)
- "Rode US12 from Lolo to Aberdeen, Washington and must say it's my favorite motorcycle road. Has every kind of riding, twisties, sweepers, mountains, great views and interesting places to stop along the way. Can't go wrong on this road." - Karl Sabin, Flint, MI (6/26/08)
- "This is the most beautiful road I have ever ridden. It is very easy to ride with a minimum of gear changes. I personally enjoy riding highway 12 from West to East. This puts the river on the riders right side as you accelerate up the pass. Beautiful!! Beautiful!! Beautiful Road." - Greg Monroe (2/16/08)
- "A gorgeous ride along the Selway River. Constant 25mph-50mph (marked) curves. Quite possibly one of the best motorcycle roads in the northwest." - Mark Neely (5/19/05)
