I am becoming a big fan of US-50.
Any time, in any state, I have ridden it, it is a nice ride.
Maybe not as sweet as some really twisty back road, but if you are going somewhere, east or west, it is a great alternative to the interstates.
The Indiana segment has some nice sweepers on it, goes thru some very scenic areas, and more than a few small towns.
A southern equivalent to the Lincoln Highway.
It is a great way to get from Cincinnati to St. Louis (see my comments on US-50 in Illinois).
- Rider from St. Peters, MO (4/13/12)
Nice sweeping curves through the Hoosier National Forest.
Nice to use in making a loop with SR-450 which is a great stretch of road.
