Rider Comments:

  • "I just did this road from Waldoboro to Pemaquid Point and I would rate this road as 'Twisties' from Waldoboro to Chamberlain, and then 'scenic' down to Pemaquid Point. I did a trip of 1200 miles from Montréal down to New Brunswick – Maine border and this road was one of my favorites." Video. - Anonymous (8/7/09)
  • "This has been one of my weekend favorites for several years now. The fact that it was repaved last summer only improves my opinion! Watch out for pedestrians as you get closer to Pemaquid." - Jim H. (3/20/08)
  • "Just wanted to give an update on the surface of Route 32. It was resurfaced during the summer and is in great shape right now. A couple friends and I spent the weekend up there two weeks ago and it is one of the best rides I took this year!" - Anonymous (10/17/07)
  • "While Route 32 is a great ride, it is also rough and dangerous. The tar is split and buckled severely in much of this stretch, which is a shame, as it is a great ride when the tar is right. This past winter (06-07) was hard on it. It will be a few years before the State resurfaces the road. Route 32 runs down the East side of the Pemaquid Penisula. Half way down is the Anchor Inn, a good seasonal lunch stop, further down at the end is Shaws Wharf that serves lobster on the deck. Moody's is in Waldoboro just north on Route 1, as is Beths!" - Jason Simonds, TriumphRat.net, (4/27/07)
  • "This road goes along the Maine coast and, with a slight detour of a couple miles, Pemaquid Lighthouse - one of the most scenic on the east coast. The road has some great views and twists, but has become a bit rough in spots (2006). Great restaurants along the way and usually not too congested with traffic." - Rider from Belgrade, Maine (9/16/06)
