This is a great ride!
I used to live on one of the side roads that turn off of 563 (Hopewell Road).
I now live in northern MS and really miss that twisty stretch of road.
Some local folk refer to it as 'The Devil's Backbone'!
It's a low weight road, so big trucks are not allowed, unless logging activity is going on property along the route, in which case the log trucks have to use the road to access the logging site.
So watch out for log trucks!
(This applies to the southern section of 563; the left turn at the stop sign and on towards Woodville.
The upper section is open to truck traffic and has a lot of it but is not nearly as tight and twisty, still a nice ride though.)
Ride safe and lean into it!

I agree, I found this road while exploring (lost) on my way to Woodville.
I loved it but as you say, Too Short.

VERY GOOD RIDING...yes too short.

Highway 563 out of Crosby has smooth sweeping turns for the first 11 miles.
At the stop sign, turn left (or south)and it turns into a tree lined, narrow twisty road.
The road is smooth and in great shape.
You will be sad to see it end after only 8 miles.
I can't believe that it hasn't been listed somewhere before now.
