Rider Comments:
- "The ride from Trenton NJ north to Frenchtown, NJ on Rt 29, then 619 for a bit , makes a great day ride when you then cross the Delaware River and head back south on PA-32.
PA-32 hugs the cliff/mountainside on one side, and follows the river on the other.
Great food to be found at numerous spots on the NJ side and the PA side of the river.
Meiles at Stockton is recommended, as is the Ships Inn in Lumberton NJ.
You can thread the river, crossing from one side to the other on the series of old open-grating bridges that cross the river at about 5 mile intervals.
A favorite of motorcyclists - Lambertsville NJ has lots of antique emporiums, places to eat, and gas to be had. Right across the river in PA - is New Hope (AKA No-Hope) where watching the people (dudes and dudettes of all sorts, and some unknown genders)is a fun way to spend an hour or two. Sunday mornings will find a goodly crowd of bikes parked outside Lulu's for the outstanding breakfast on the patio overlooking the Main Street." - Don Eilenberger, Spring Lk Hts, NJ (6/27/09) - "Scenic route along the Delaware River. Has some sweeping and twisty turns." - Rider from Medford, New Jersey (10/30/06)
