I believe my earliest memory of driving that road at night for excitement was 1979-80 in a little english sports car, back in the day where the Vegas population was 200K, and 6 cars a week used the loop.

This is a beautiful part of LV we had not seen until a few years ago.
Now it is a must see when we come out for rides.
There are also great trails if your a trail walker/hiker.
Bring your camera and good boots for a little walk here and there as you stop for the scenic views.

This is a stunner if not too short.
There are many twisties but this road can’t be run hot as there are just too many cars and bicycles.
Still a great motorcycle ride.
159 between the two entrances should be considered part of the route.
There is a rest stop in this stretch that is THE See-and-be-Seen motorcycle hangout outside of the strip in the Las Vegas Valley.
It won’t keep you occupied all day but it is a Las Vega must for a couple hours if you are here on any kind of street bike.

Beautiful scenic ride with a speed limit of 25mph – one way – so you can look around all you want and traffic is light.
