Rider Comments:
- "I rode Route 28 from Highway 87 to Utica (7/11) and the scenery is quite nice overall even though it becomes more of a non-event when getting into the Utica foothills. The road surface is damaged for a significant portion and you need to pay attention to the road in order not to get into trouble. Traffic, on a work day, is pretty light but you'll still have to be patient with the motorhomes wrestling with the inclines. Overall rating: 7/10." - LG, Candiac, QC (7/8/11)
- "Rode from Kingston to Cooperstown 8/08 and the road is in good shape with some nice sweepers and tight turns. There is some nice scenery and some small towns to make any necessary stops." - John Griffin, Long Island, NY (/08)
- "This road is smooth and twisty between Hunter, NY and Olivebridge, NY. There is a scenic stop overlooking a reservoir between these towns as well." - Anonymous (6/13/08)
