- "Blue Mountain Lake has great views and the Adirondack Museum. Long Lake is really pretty and has one or two places to stop and eat. Definetly gas up at the earilest opportunity because outside of town, its pretty desolate. The road is very quiet and seldom traveled, even at the height of tourist season. History buffs will be attracted to Aiden Lair in Minerva, an old abandoned hunting lodge on the side of the road where Teddy Roosevelt stopped on his way to North Creek before becomming President in the early part of the century." - Rider from Scotia, NY (5/24/10)
