Rider Comments:
- "I rode 9 from Champlain to Saratoga Springs summer of 2006. Northern 2/3 of route is very scenic and remote, but with a large number of potholes. Bottom 1/3 is prone to heavy weekend lake traffic. AuSable Chasm is well worth seeing!" - Kyle, Boston, MA (6/9/08)
- "Rode 9N along Lake George above Warrensburg for the 1st time last week during Americade. Very nice scenery, some great twisties. A couple of miles north of Bolton's Landing there's a really cool 'S' turn. Marked 35 mph, it sweeps about 270 degrees right then goes nicely into about 270 degrees left." - Rider from Morrisville, New York (6/18/07)
- "Great mix of scenic, and twisty turns with lakes and mountains. Lots of little places to eat and have a cold drink." - Harry Treadway
