Rider Comments:
- "It has become one of my favorite roads, 66 miles with one stop light and one stop sign. Took my bro-in-law and wife, he said that was great. Just watch out for deer, fall of '09 I was within inches of hitting a buck." - Larry (4/4/10)
- "Absolutely beautiful road, even in mid-November. Two lanes, good pavement, very little traffic, beautiful countryside. Can't ask for more than that." - Angelo Bertinelli (11/14/07)
- "An update for riders traveling Northeast on 87. Penn-DOT has put down tar and chip patches recently (yesterday), and went very heavy on the chip, from the county line heading northeast towards Dushore. The county line is about five miles southwest of Hillsgrove. Conditions are very slick at this point in time, as the gravel is loose on the patches and scattered across the road." - Anonymous (8/9/07)
- "Lots of beautiful scenery to go along with plenty of sweepers. This road generaly follows the bed of the Loyalsock creek. A mix of riding next to shear rock walls, picteresque streams with some rolling hillside farmland mixed-in for good measure. It provides the perfect balance of sweepers, slightly tight corners and well placed open spaces for passing when needed. Very light traffic, almost no intersections." - Brad Morgan (4/21/07)
