• "The included map turns off on Ridge Road. I do not think this was intentional. Some of the best parts are below Ridge Road. I take this route every day from work or for play. It's my favorite whether in my car or on my motorcycle. Right now, there is a detour right around Ridge Valley Road headed south." - Anonymous (9/6/10)
• "Allentown Road is a secondary connecting road running between Lansdale, PA and I-78 near Allentown. While traffic can be an issue, there are also often stretches where traffic disappears and there's room to get serious. The road varies from straight ahead to some tight twisties with significant changes in elevation at the same time. Back off a bit in the towns along the way - there are some surprise side roads where a "phone whale" could pop out. The route through Trumbauersville is a little complicated - look at a map or use a GPS to be sure of staying on Allentown Road. From Lanark, it's an easy ride to Slatington and the SR-895 route, for example, or through Jim Thorpe and up into the Poconos. In short, Allentown Road is a good way to get from the NW Phila.
