Rider Comments:
- "The stretch from 95 to 44 should be avoided like the plague. My buddy says "hell is paved with straight roads"...I thought it would be hotter. Absolutely brutal! Straight and boring for what seems like an eternity. On the very few curves, the pavement turns to crap as if it's all part of some sick joke." - 'Bullseye' (8/24/08)
- "Good laid back road to ride, you can get anywhere in the state from it for its many intersections to other general feeder roads. Spotted with little establishments here and there like soda stands and small diners on the south and around Rt. 3, and pretty decently curvy with good shade and nice sights as you get north of 95 into Foster. Plenty of passing zones and a few great spots to pull off and relax, with gas stations on the north and south ends as well as at the intersection with Rt 6. My only complaint is the deteriorating state of the pavement (as of spring 2008) between Rt 6 and 95, which can make it a bit hairy if you're sporting it. Its a summer staple for myself and my friends though, as we make a tradition of riding it end to end at least monthly. Its not a day-long road trip, but its certainly great for wiping out an afternoon and clearing your head." - Native Northern RI Rider (5/24/08)
- "Great country ride, minimal traffic, home spun dining." - Rider from Cumberland, Rhode Island (8/30/07)
