Roads are for the most part ok, but I did see a few spots where the road has started to cave in a bit and might be problematic in the future.
Signage for curves is sometimes non-existent.
NO PULLOFFS!
Most of road was no-passing and no-pulloff areas made it a pain with the cagers barrelling up behind!
Speed limit was a bit high considering no shoulder, no passing and unmarked curves.
It was an ok road.

Very twisty sections on this road.
Very scenic views, do not look down.
Cane Creek Gorge, Fall Creek Falls, Sequatchie Valley, Cumberland heaven.
Pikeville makes a good place to eat.
If you love 2 lanes this is the best route from east to west across Tennesee.
Takes longer but well worth it.

If you are in the Spencer, McMinnville, Cookville area you would be hard pressed to find a twistier section of road than into and out of Spencer on Route 30, particularly just east of Spencer.

Start on Highway 64/74 and turn left onto Highway 30 towards Reliance.
The halfway point comes to Webb Bro's gas station where you can take a right on Highway 315, which will take you to the Cherohala Skyway, or continue on Highway 30 towards 411.

Beautiful scenery and excellent road, just wished they had pullover stops on the hills for pictures of the breathtaking views.
