- "Another really good road for the "near south" Dallas area, which, when you couple it with FM 664, is a great alternate route between Waxahachie and Midlothian other than the rather boring US 287. This is a little better as far as scenery goes than FM 664, and it has quite a lot of 30, 35, and 40 MPH curves that I didn't really see on the map.
