- "Two lane twisty that follows the south bank of the Llano River. Has some low water crossings that are usually dry during summer but be careful after sudden rain storms. The small town of Castell is approximately the half way point where you can enjoy a break. On the west side of Castell the roadway is unfenced and has several cattle guard crossings offering a lot of beautiful Hill Country scenery including deer and turkey." - Rider from Navasota, Texas (6/30/06)
