Submit your on this road.
This is a great road especially west bound, it is very scenic (for my wife) and very twisted (for me).

Variety of curves with a little elevation change down into and out of low lands.

A fun little road for this area.
If you head north on 244 across Highway 30, Yankee's Bar and Grill is located on the right (east side) of 244.
Good food, biker friendly.

3090 is a great road. Nice and twisty.

I usually haul the Ducati 999 up from Richmond to Waller, TX and unload.
I take 362 north then take 105 east then 2445 north then 1774 up to Anderson, TX.
Then I take 149 to 3090.
3090 is really nice with the twists and turns.
Traffic is very light if any at all.

This road is one of the best in the Houston area.

Reminds me of the Hill Country without the elevation changes.
Be careful, it will bite you if you are not paying attention.
I have a Harley Road Glide and have almost eaten it on this road a couple of times.
It has several corners that appear to be one thing and turn out to be another.
So if you are riding a cruiser, cruise through it once before pushing it.
- Terry From Willis, TX (10/24/09)
It's a twisty sucker. Lots of fun, but don't do it if you're tired.

There have been several accidents on this road cause after you ride it a couple of times, you think I got the hang of this road.
Just about the time you start thinking this, it will jump up an bite you.
The reason for this is that the road is very deceptive.
Some of the corners that look like they are banked are really flat or banked negative.
Good road to ride, just be on your toes when you do.
Oh, one other thing, watch out for gravel in some of the corners sometimes.
It's always changing the corner that had gravel the last time you rode it will be clear and the ones that were clear will have gravel in them!!

Like twisties? This road has a nice blend of switchbacks, 15-mph turns, sweeping curves, and minor elevation changes.

Generally NOT a lot of traffic on this road, which also has some nice scenery.

Take Washington out of "downtown" (if you can call it that) Navasota till you get to 3090.

As you go North, it is a right turn just past, as I remember, a Dollar General store.
You'll need to watch the road signs for Carlos, Texas.
The last few miles are on FM-244.
You end up at Yankee's Tavern for a cold beer and the best hamburger in 200 miles.
- Rider from Stafford, Texas (6/16/07)
Twisty. Very Twisty. Lots of S curves, some sweepers.

Ride the scenic way up various roads like FM-149 up to Navasota or directly up US-290 from Houston to Navasota.
Great combination of 90's, sweepers, and esses. Not too much straight.
About three turns that scare you your first ride, and challenge you every time after that.
From the north end ride 4 miles north to Yankees Tavern in Carlos for great burgers out on the deck with other riders.
A true diamond in the SE Texas rough.
Close enough to town so you can plan to spend the afternoon back in Houston sipping ice tea at your favorite hang out.
