- I rode this route 3 times in a row this past weekend and overall this was a great road with some really fun sweepers.
Most turns were posted 30-45mph and there were no really tight 1st gear 10mph turns to catch you out.
The last mile or so on the east side of the route has some spotty re-pavement work but nothing in the middle of a corner that would cause trouble.
Most of the corners have a side road that feeds into FM-697, so keep an eye out for any gravel or dirt that has been carried into the road.
Also, there are a lot of trees which make many of the turns blind so don't hug the center line in case someone in a car/truck/farm equipment takes the turn wide or are crossing your lane to enter one of the side roads.

- We rode this yesterday, 06-14-09, and it's an absolute HOOT!!!
Lots of twisties, curves and sweepers in this short stretch of road.
Plus just enough straight parts to relax in and soak up the scenery.
The road conditions were great, but there are a couple of good sized bumps that sneak up on ya', so please be careful."
