- "Honea Egypt Road is heavily traveled by state troopers, county mounties, and even tow trucks. Why? Because of all the wrecks on this relatively short stretch of twisted pavement. Tow truck drivers call it 'Suicide Road' and last year a motorcycle repair shop opened for business, almost exactly at the half way point, no doubt sensing there's money to be made from all the cycle crashes. It's also a heavily traveled road for oncoming cars that oftentimes cross over the double yellow line that covers most of this road, because of all the curves.
