- "This is a good turn off to make if you're doing FM 1431, the 'Texas Twister'. The first part of the road is super tight and curvy, and there is a view of Lake Travis as you come off the hill. You do have to u-turn, as it ends in Turkey Bend Recreation Area, which you can enter for a fee for picnicing, swimming, or boating.
