Rider Comments:
- "We have rode this every time we come through Fredericksburg. An awesome ride. We do respect the property owners and have stopped briefly for pictures!" - Sandra Mermella and Steve Conner (5/21/10)
- "I rode Willow City Loop for the first time today. The wildflowers were incredible! They say because of the wacky weather patterns this year the flowers are the best in the last 15 years and I believe it. There were at least 10 different kinds and colors of wildflowers, but of course most of all there were bluebonnets. The route is rugged and full of canyons and steep hills. There are also many narrow bridges over water crossings and several cattle guards, so be careful. It's easily the prettiest ride I've been on in Central Texas so far, I plan to do it again soon. Unfortunately there were thousands of tourists on this 20-mile route today (Saturday 4/10/2010) and it was total chaos. Pick a day in the middle of the week and you should be OK. " - Jeff Nichols (4/10/10)
- "This is probably the best ride in Texas. Beautiful canyons, great turns and lots of scenery." - Jerry Wright (5/29/09)
- "Please note that this road cuts through private property. The owners are kind enough to allow folks to view the scenic vistas along this drive; but ask that you don't stop or park on the side of the road. Please respect this request, and drive carefully (and slowly) as there is a lot of loose cattle on this drive. Otherwise, it is a beautiful run and you can get away with a brief stop to take a quick picture or two!" - Anonymous (11/4/08)
- "This is a beautiful road to ride especially middle to late April for the Bluebonnets." - Rider from Texas (6/11/07)
- "The residents in this area don't take to visitors very well, especially those with loud pipes. You should not stop while on this route. We found this out the hard way!" - Rider from Houston, Texas (6/6/07)
- "Twisty. Best wildflowers in the state..." - Jim Griffin (9/26/06)
- "Very fun! Very scenic. Go slow, there are cattle and a lot of cattle grates." - Jason Adame (5/30/06)
