Rider Comments:

  • "Very nice and chill scenic route for the most part. Great views of the river and hills, with some nice neighborhoods along the way. This is a great way to lead in to a 2222->LCR road run." - Brandon, Ninja 250 rider from Austin, TX (2/25/09)
  • "A great little ride that's full of sweepers & gets twisty at times with a lot of elevation changes to give some areas a 'roller-coaster' feel [be prepared for your front to be airborne at the top of a few hills]. This route is mainly for those looking for an 'alt-route' home after the daily grind...or a fun stint into the city [beats those boring & congested freeways].
CAVEAT: on cooler mornings and evenings deer have been spotted along this road, so be careful during these times. Also, one should go easy between Bee Caves Road [2244] and the stop sign at Red Bud Trail, as you will be passing the City of Westlake's City Hall & Police Station...and they religiously set speed traps in this area. But from there out you can set your own pace." - Rider from Austin, Texas (2/10/08)
