- Three or four-miles south of Manchester, Vermont is the paved, 2-lane Skyline Drive ascending to the 3,848' summit of Mount Equinox. Panoramic views of the Green, Taconic, Adirondack, White and Bershire Mountains of Vermont, New York, New Hampshire and Massachusetts can be seen along the way and at the summit. The inn at the top of Mount Equinox is closed and there are no other amenities at this time. However it is a beautiful, exciting ride for the small toll fee required. - Charles Peterson (2/13/08)
