Rider Comments:

  • "This is a delightful journey through the southwestern part of Wisconsin. The road, for most of this track, follows the Wisconsin River through many small and picturesque towns and past postcard farms, ending up in Prairie Du Chien, where the Wisconsin meets the Mississippi. Near PDC is a small state park called, of all things, Pikes Peak, which provides a magnificent view of the countryside.
While there are some twists and turns along the way, this is really more of a tour road than a sport road. But a beautiful and peaceful ride, nonetheless." - Ralph Couey (11/11/09)
  • "Beautiful drive amongst limestone bluffs. Lots of twisties between Sauk Prairie and Spring Green. Little to no traffic. Roads are pretty smooth, a little rough closer to Sauk Prairie, but nothing major." - Joshua Banks, Portage, Wisconsin (7/12/09)
  • "Excellent route, nice scenery and some twisties along with some slight elevation changes. Not much traffic and real quiet on the week days, except for the locals. This is a favorite ride of mine any time I get in the area." - J. Vandenberg (4/14/09)
  • "This a great ride with lots of views of the Wisconsin river. Plenty of small towns with local eateries. Motorcycle dealers/repair in Richland Center, (Honda/Yamaha/Kawasaki) and Sauk City (Harley Davidson) and Prairie du Chien (Yamaha, etc) just in case they're needed. Historical sites along the route, as well. Good road surfaces and not too much traffic." - Anonymous (3/27/09)
